What: Kirkendall Neighbourhood Strategy Community Conversation
When: Saturday, 29 February 2020
Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Where: Melrose United Church (86 Homewood Avenue)
Come join the Kirkendall Neighbourhood Strategy folks for a conversation on the key themes that emerged from community input over the last year – five major themes and a series of specific issues came up over and over again. Share your thoughts and ideas, tell us if something is missing or needs to be added, learn about the next steps, and how you can get involved.
This meeting will also introduce plans for the HAAA Working Group as well as the Friendly Streets for Vision Zero audit of Kirkendall North.

Annual Holiday Crafting & Christmas Movie – December 7, 2019

The KNA is holding its annual free holiday crafting party on December 7th at Blessings Church (corner of Stanley and Locke) from 10am until noon. Make your own ornaments and cards, decorate cookies and gift bags. And new this year – Bath bombs!
Later that evening, please join us as the KNA presents Home Alone at our free movie night at Blessings Church. Doors open at 6:30pm.

KNA’s Annual Movie Night Under the Stars – Thursday, August 15

Join us on Thursday, August 15 for the screening of the classic movie, Jumanji (the original!). The movie starts at dusk (approximately 8:45) in the rear parking lot of Blessings Christian Church/Stanley Ave. Baptist Church, 115 Stanley Ave. at Locke Street.
Representatives from the Kirkendall Neighbourhood Plan will be also be on hand to learn what you love about Kirkendall. Enjoy a movie under the stars and share your thoughts about what makes Kirkendall great!
Snacks will be available for purchase at reasonable costs.
Don’t forget to bring your blankets and lawn chairs!
This is a free event, however donations are appreciated.
