2023 Volunteer Opportunities
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO VOLUNTEERED FOR OUR 2022 FOOD DRIVE!
We could not do this without your help!
We can complete community hours forms and provide references.
FOOD BAG PREP – help us with counting and sorting bags at McMaster Innovation Park (MIP) for pick up by Food Bag Delivery folks
FOOD BAG DELIVERY – deliver food collection bags to Kirkendall households and apartments/condos; between April 28th & May 4th
LAWN SIGN – consider having a KNA food drive lawn sign on your lawn for the week prior to May 6
POSTER HANGING – hang up posters around the neighbourhood to help spread the word about the Food Drive; week of April 15th
POSTER TAKEDOWN – take down the posters after the Food Drive; May 8th to 10th
Volunteer on the day of the Food Drive:
BUS VOLUNTEERS (South of Aberdeen) – The BUS IS BACK to roam the streets of Kirkendall to collect food drive bags! This exciting opportunity asks you to be on and off the bus and help collect the food drive bags from neighbour’s porches. Start time is 9 am. Bus leaves at 10 am and returns between 1-1:30 pm. Light refreshments will be available for volunteers.
