President: Mark Stewart
Mark has been a member of the Kirkendall community since moving his family in 2012. Mark works at McMaster Innovation Park and walks to work on a regular basis. Focusing on community development, Mark is a member of the KNA Development Review Committee and Chairs the Planning Commitee developing Kirkendall’s strategic neighbourhood plan. Mark and his family are avid walkers and outdoor enthusiasts and enjoy the area for the ability to walk on the Chedoke and Bruce trails, as well as the quick walk to downtown, and Locke St. amenities.
Treasurer & Events: Jennifer Fraser
Jennifer moved to the Kirkendall area in 2012. Jennifer has a background in fundraising and community engagement and has worked for numerous charities at the local and National level. In addition to acting as Treasurer Jennifer oversees the KNA’s various fundraising and event activities and chairs the yearly KNA Fill a Bus, Feed a Family Food Drive in support of Mission Services each May.

Communications Coordinator (Social media) : Angelica Martinez
Angelica recently moved to the Kirkendall area in the fall 2021, after living in Dundas and growing up on the Hamilton Mountain. Angelica is a local teacher and Certified Child Life Specialist at McMaster Children’s Hospital. In her free time, she volunteers at the Grimsby hospice, runs student clubs, reads at the librairies, and explores all the new restaurants Hamilton has to offer. Angelica is excited to join the neighbourhood association as a member at large!
Barb grew up in the Kirkendall neighbourhood, raised her family on the Mountain and moved back to the hood in 2002. She is a retired registered nurse, grandmother of 3, fierce feminist and active volunteer. She has served as the KNA secretary since 2017.
Member at Large: Gideon Bell
Gideon is a real estate development and planning lawyer with a keen interest in urban revitalization, brownfield redevelopment and adaptive re-use. He has lived in the Kirkendall area since 2017 and enjoys everything the neighbourhood has to offer; from its nature trails, to its restaurants, to its unique architectural character and charm. Gideon is thrilled to help further the mandate of the Kirkendall Neighbourhood Association as a Member at Large
Member at Large: Meltem Koseleci
Member at Large: Susan Millman
Susan has lived with her family in Kirkendall since 1998, and spent a number of years volunteering at Earl Kitchener School and Kanétskare Elementary School (formerly Ryerson Elementary School) while her children were young. Over the years, Susan has enjoyed being able to work in close proximity to the Kirkendall neighbourhood, most recently at McMaster University. Susan has been a member of the KNA Food Drive Committee since 2010 has supported other KNA fundraising initiatives over the years. She enjoys the historic character of the neighbourhood, the tree-lined streets, and the friendly greetings from fellow Kirkendall residents on her walks through the neighbourhood.
