Guest Speaker: Paul Scholl
Horticultural Greenhouse Supervisor, City of Hamilton
Topic: “Our Changing Garden – Flowers and Vegetables that Work Best in our Changing Climate”.
Paul will be sharing information with us about some new trends and some changes the City of Hamilton Horticulture department has been making, as well. Paul has an Honours Bachelor of Science Kinesiology (McMaster University), a Minor in Geography & Environmental Science, a Horticulturalist Diploma (University of Guelph), Greenhouse Management (University of Guelph), and he has received a City Managers Award for Public Service Excellence – City of Hamilton and a Growing Leaders Program Certificate – City of Hamilton.
In addition to our guest speaker, we’ll also be hearing from Councillor Maureen Wilson and A/Sgt. Kevin Jones with Ward 1 updates, plus we’ll hear about some of the activities the KNA has been hosting over the past year and in the next few months. Our AGM is also a time to elect our Executive and Member-at-Large positions, so now is your chance to get involved!
