November 24, 2016
The KNA hosted an LRT information session focusing on the new Operations Maintenance and Storage Facility (OMSF) for the LRT to be located by an extended Frid St. at the end of Chatham St. (The exact configuration is still to be determined). In attendance was representatives of Ward 1, the City of Hamilton, Metrolinx and the Hamilton Metrolinx project team.
This was an opportunity to be informed about the new Facility, understand potential impact in the neighbourhood, and offer your opinion, ideas and ask questions.
All ideas, unanswered questions and concerns generated at the meeting will be incorporated into an official submission for the Environmental Assessment (EA) process now being completed for the project. By doing so, these ideas etc. will be answered as part of the EA process.
The session was held at McMaster Innovation Park Room 1D at 7:00 pm on November 24th.
