Update on Chedoke Bridge

As many already have found, the bridge on the Chedoke multi-use trail has been closed lately. Staff report that work on the bridge is scheduled to start this week and should be completed by January 6, 2012, weather permitting.  Note that additional channel/bank stabilization work will be completed at a later date.

City of Hamilton’s Official Holiday Lighting Ceremony

Featuring a free concert by FREEDOM TRAIN Friday, December 2, 2011 – 5:30 P.M. Gore Park – South Leg of King Street East between Hughson and James Streets

Watch downtown Hamilton come to light, featuring the City’s beautifully decorated tree in Gore Park.  Enjoy a free concert, sample warm food and beverages, and feel the holiday spirit.  There will be amusement rides for young children, and a “direct to the North Pole” mailbox for letters to Santa.
