I saw a man of this description at the LCBO store on Dundurn St. at Chedoke Ave. He was about 6′ tall with a greyish leather jacket, black sweat pants and white socks, black shoes. He was thin, almost gaunt in the face with brown very short hair. He was very polite and asked me for money to put gas in his car which he said was on the highway, as he needed to get to the hospital to see his daughter who had been in a bad car accident. He hung around the store, which was strange as he did not seem at all concerned about getting to the hospital. While I was in the LCBO I saw another customer come in upset becasue, as he said, “That man is here again,” by which I think he meant that the scam artist was there often.
