The Environmental Assessment for the Frid Street Extension has now been completed by the consultants whose final recommendation can be commented upon.
Open House for “Demolition by Neglect” By-law: Tomorrow
There is an open-house to discuss a proposed bylaw to combat “demolition by neglect” tomorrow. The purpose of the open house is to provide information to designated heritage property owners and the public and receive input on the proposed Property Standards By-Law amendment.
TAKE THE KIRKENDALL BACKPACK CHALLENGE
The Hamilton Roundtable on Poverty is asking citizens to donate school supplies to its ‘Fill A Backpack’ campaign. Councillor McHattie has issued a ‘Backpack Challenge’ and Kirkendall is taking him up on it. We would like to ask Kirkendall residents to take donations to the Locke St. Medical Clinic at 206 Locke St. S. (905-570-0440) and we will deliver them.
