Please join us again for our 10th Annual Spring Cleanup of the Reservoir Park and Bruce Trail, on Saturday April 26, 2008. Give us a couple of hours of your valuable time between 9 a.m. and 12 noon, to help make our parks and trails cleaner and safer for all users!
StatsCan is reporting that many Canadians are disposing of batteries, electronics, and expired medications in the trash, or in the case of medications, even dumping them down the drain.
Kirkendall is having a food drive on Saturday, May 3rd from 10 am to 4 pm, and we need volunteers! We will have a city bus traveling throughout the neighbourhood collecting your donations of non-perishable items. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The Starbucks location soon to be opening at the corner of Locke and Bold, in what was formerly the Robert David clothing store, is having a “Family and Friends” event on Wednesday, March 19th from 6 to 9 p.m., with all proceeds going to the Ryerson School’s Nutrition Program.
